AINJEL EMME (ayn-jel em) is a songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and recording engineer based in Joshua Tree, CA. With a collaborative spirit and sharp musical instincts, she brings curiosity, adventure, and decades of studio experience to the room. Her work follows a simple guiding principle: serve the song.
Best known for her work as a vocal producer and session musician, Ainjel has a discerning ear. She's an intuitive multi-instrumentalist, an analog enthusiast, and FEEL is as the center of her approach to vocal arrangement. Beyond the studio, Ainjel is a passionate educator and advocate for women and gender-nonconforming people, and youth in the recording arts. She has collaborated with organizations like The Recording Academy, Women's Audio Mission, SoundGirls, and She Is the Music in pursuit of establishing more space for underrepresented voices. In 2024, she founded Women Making Records, a grassroots collective focused on hands-on education, career development, and community-building for independent and self-producing artists. She is also the Director of Production for Tunelittle, a nonprofit organization that builds social and literary skills for children through songwriting.
