Those of you who've been with me a while know (or know of) Rie Daisies. If you don't know her, Rie is an independent singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and recording engineer from Michigan. She's also one of my very best friends.

Rie was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She is responding well to treatment thus far, but faces a long and difficult battle.

I'm traveling to Michigan at the end of July to spend some quality time together before I get back out on the road. We're also sorting out a plan to finish the two records she has been working on since her most recent release, Beyond The Blush.

 

Because I'm stepping back from the studio for a while to tour with one of my collaborators, personal funds are tight. I'm hoping to raise enough to help cover my cost of travel. Any money raised surpassing my travel costs will go directly to Rie & her family. There's also more information on how to donate directly to Rie further down this page.
